The Ex Tray is a unique hors d’oeuvres serving tray, designed by Raffaele Iannello. It holds 10 quality stainless steel skewers, which are included in the package. Before the tray is used, it can be loaded with condiments and when it is ready to be served, you can remove the figure and sett it on your table to expose a well in the tray for dipping. The tray measures 12 inches x 9 inches x 8 inches.

Have you hosted a party that just would not start up? You just got stuck in the midst of dead conversation and you frantically try to come up with a way to liven things up? For a moment your mind goes blank as you try to figure out something to say that will trigger someone’s mind. Maybe it is just a matter of the icebreaker. In fact, they are all probably thinking the same thing, which makes it that much more awkward – they actually know how you feel.
This is not meant to embarrass anyone, and we have all been through it. But a neat little fact about the dynamics of this situation is the fact that the silliest little insight or topic of possible conversation that comes up will get a conversation going for the rest of the night. This is why I like The EX Tray. The plastic figure is of a person that has designated holes to hold the skewers. It makes for a funny conversation piece, as it denotes a voodoo doll-type.
